Our Process
Project Stages
Taking the first step in considering a home improvement project for the first time and not knowing what to expect can make the process daunting. Here’s a basic outline of the typical phases of a project to help you prepare and know what to expect.
Inquiry
Whether you reach out to us by phone, email, or the contact form on our website, this is where we’ll first get to know you and some basic information about your project, such as the type of improvement and a brief description of what you're looking to accomplish.
Initial Conversation
We will respond to your inquiry and initiate a conversation to gather more information. This initial conversation can take place by phone or email, depending on your preference and the complexity of the project. To establish what phase of planning you are, we'll ask you questions to better understand your goals, budget, timeline and requirements, and direct you to any resources that will help in the planning and preparation of your project.
Site Visit
If the initial conversation goes well and we determine we can potentially meet your needs and requirements, we will schedule a one-on-one meeting with you. During the visit, we will physically assess the site, take measurements and further discuss your ideas, offering our expertise and suggestions where appropriate. This meeting will allow us better understand the full scope of your project and provide a more accurate estimate.
Estimation
Based on all the information gathered during the initial conversation and site visit, we will prepare an estimate outlining the proposed scope of work, timeline and anticipated cost, that includes materials, labor and any other related expenses such as permits or designs.
Review and Negotiation
Once you’ve reviewed the estimate we’ve provided, there may be further discussions to clarify questions or negotiate specific details, such as materials, design choices, or pricing. This will ensure we are on the same page and that expectations are aligned.
Schedule
We will determine an optimum start date for your project, taking into consideration; product availability, order and delivery dates, as well as our current project calendar.
Agreement/ Contract
Once you’re satisfied and agree with the scope and terms of the estimate, we will enter into a formal agreement. This will involve signing a contract that outlines the agreed-upon scope of work, timeline, payment schedule, warranties and any other relevant provisions.
Lead-up
We will maintain regular communication with you leading up to the start date, keeping you informed while providing preparation guidance for a smooth start.
Execution
At the commencement of work, we will provide you a rough production schedule and maintain regular progress updates and communication with you till completion. Upon successful completion, we ask for a review and testimony that we can share.
