Pinnacle Remodeling recently renovated our kitchen. The kitchen was 45 years old and in desperate need of updating. The work included replacing the old popcorn finished ceiling, as well as the installation of new cabinetry, a tile backsplash, peninsula, lighting, trim and painting. Chris Upton and Jason did all the work, and we are thrilled with the results.  Their craftsmanship and attention to detail are unparalleled.

Initially, we met with Chris to discuss the details of the renovation. Chris then produced a detailed work scope and timeline. The total project took three weeks to complete, with Chris and Jason working diligently to complete the work on time and within budget.  They are excellent craftsmen – their work is precise and well executed. Their experience and knowledge make them very resourceful in dealing with the unforeseen problems that can arise in dealing with a remodel. 

Chris and Jason are conscientious and take pride in doing a good job. They work very neatly and always strived to make the disruptive process of remodeling unobtrusive on our family. The renovation far exceeds our original expectations. We would not hesitate to use Chris again, or to refer him to friends and family who may wish to renovate their homes. Pinnacle Remodeling executed an exceptional job.

I’m a pretty handy guy with a well-maintained home, but our recent deck remodel was one of our toughest projects.  It was absolutely nothing I could take on myself and it was very difficult to find the right contractor.  After several businesses turned us down, didn’t call us back or priced the job way out of our range, we were really lucky to have hired Pinnacle Remodeling.  Our deck is off the second floor of our raised ranch. Our backyard is tiered and leads down an embankment which is pretty wooded.  Erosion was causing the footings of the deck to sink toward the embankment and it actually started pulling away from the back of the house.  We were very nervous that a rebuild was going to lead to the same problem in just a short period of time.  After speaking with Chris, not only did he have a very reasonable estimate, he had a solution to the footing problem.  Chris really listens, is very knowledgeable and he runs a very well-organized operation – everything from clear expectations to timeframes to a clean job site.  He never rushed to get to the next job and he made sure that we were very satisfied, knowing this was a high stress project for us.  We have highly recommended Pinnacle Remodeling to many people, no matter what type of job.  We haven’t heard about a disappointment yet.

My wife and I live in a standard New England cape-style home.  Having grown up in the South, I had always wanted to add a front porch, especially because we have a distant water view of Long Island sound.  I made a rough sketch and showed it to Pinnacle Remodeling for a formal plan.  Chris drew up construction plans and a rendering which perfectly fit everything that we wanted.  We were nervous, as it was going to transform the entire look of the front of our house, but Chris’ attention to detail, knowledge and work quality tied this porch to our house flawlessly as if it were the original construction.  In no time, I had the porch I always wanted and it became the new location where my wife and I spent many pleasant hours. Chris responded to all my questions and went above and beyond.  He even helped us rethink our front bay window and how a large picture window would complement the porch much better.  This ultimately improved the feel and look of our living room. Working with Chris was a pleasure.

Chris and his team were truly amazing. We moved into our home over the summer and wanted our cold concrete floor basement to become a room we'd feel comfortable having our child play in, and parents stay when they visit. Chris was able to listen to our ideas and installed some great luxury vinyl flooring. He also redid the banister and put new treads on the stairs. When looking at the floor, Chris discovered that things might run a bit over schedule due to uneven spots. We appreciated both his communication and the fact that he took the extra time to do things right. We will use Pinnacle Remodeling again and would highly recommend them to others.
